More information about Wyckoff Scan!

What does this website offer?

Objective

The primary goal of this platform is to scan selected financial assets by applying technical analysis based on Wyckoff principles. The tool is designed to detect potential market opportunities, which the trader must manually review and confirm.

Currently, the system identifies key alerts focused on effort vs. result imbalances, providing signals for effort vs. result (demand or strength), effort vs. result (supply or weakness), bullish reversal bar (bottom reversal), bearish reversal bar (top reversal), selling climax, and buying climax. It also detects exceptionally narrow range bars, lack of demand, lack of supply, ultra-high volume, and unusually low volume (dryness).

A specialized scanner for the 2Bar NR and 3Bar NR pattern is also available, based on the methodology of Toby Crabel, a renowned expert in technical analysis and short-term trading strategies. This scanner identifies narrow range (NR) consolidation setups with high precision, ideal for breakout strategies in financial markets.

New alerts are continuously being integrated to improve the scanner's coverage and accuracy.

What is scanned?

WyckoffScan! provides real-time analysis of leading U.S. market assets, covering all components of the S&P 500, Dow Jones 30, and Nasdaq 100. Additionally, the scanner monitors a strategic selection of ETFs and futures to provide global market sentiment: SPY, QQQ, IWM (Small Caps), DIA, UUP (US Dollar), VXX (Volatility), and the Treasury yield curve (TLT, IEF, SHY).

Which timeframes?

Analysis is performed across three timeframes: monthly, weekly, and daily.

When are scans performed?

Our algorithm processes every bar close and automatically issues alerts based on the Madrid time zone (CET). **Daily** notifications are generated each trading day starting at 6:00 AM, while higher timeframe reports are issued on Saturdays around 8:00 AM for weekly closes and on the 1st of each month at 10:00 AM for monthly analysis, ensuring you have all technical insights ready before the U.S. market open.

When should I buy, sell, or close a position?

This website does not provide that information. Alerts are provided so you can study and analyze the market on your own and at your own risk. No alert should be interpreted as a buy/sell signal or financial advice. Each alert must be confirmed and traded under your sole responsibility and according to your personal trading criteria.
